Company History

The quick story of Pioneer Sheet Metal, Inc.

The beginning...

In June of 1990 Pioneer Sheet Metal opened its doors. Bob and Roy Bolt had already operated a successful Built-Up roofing company, which has been in operation since 1920.

Our goal...

The goal was to create a sheet metal company to be a full service, professional shop that would service the needs of contractors around the state.

Expansion...

A shop which started with three employees was opened at 9th and Hawthorne, with modest equipment. We grew and later relocated our offices to Fairview.

Today and beyond...

Today it has evolved into the full service shop with state of the art equipment and employs 1 general manager, 5 project managers, new business development manager, field superintendent, safety nanager and 55 field employees.

The management of Pioneer Sheet Metal considers accident prevention an extremely important phase of our daily operations. It is the policy of this Company to provide a healthy and safe work place for its employees.

Employee safety

This Company will not require any employee to work in surroundings or under conditions that are unsafe. Pioneer Sheet Metal will comply with all Federal, State, and local safety rules, regulations, or standards pertaining to our work.

Safety programs

It is the responsibility of this Company to initiate and maintain safety programs which shall consist of weekly safety education meetings, drug and alcohol awareness programs as well as regular inspections of job sites, materials, and equipment.

Safe operation

It is management's responsibility to oversee a safe operation and take whatever action is necessary to accomplish this objective. It is the responsibility of every employee to comply with all appropriate company safety rules, Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) requirements and other recognized standards.

Safety Manager

Pioneer Sheet Metal has a designated full-time competent Safety Manager who makes sure employees comply with all company safety rules, OSHA requirements and other recognized standards. All questions with respect to this Policy or Company safety rules should be directed to our Safety Manager.
